Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Save image as… browser extension and any related websites, editor, and premium features (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Northpine Labs LLC ("SaveImage", "we", "us"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

SaveImage lets you save and convert images to formats such as JPG, PNG, WebP and PDF, crop and annotate them, and use credit-based AI tools such as background removal, upscaling and prompt-based editing. Core conversion and editing happen locally in your browser. AI tools send the image you are editing to our processing server only when you explicitly invoke them, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. The Service is open source; your use of its source code is additionally governed by the license published in its public repository.

• Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. The current price is shown at checkout and may vary by region. There is no license key — your subscription is linked to your installation automatically, and can be restored on another device by verifying the email used at checkout.
• New users get 15 free AI credits to try the AI tools, with no payment and no card required. Once they run out, you can buy a one-time credit pack or subscribe for a monthly allowance.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Subscribers receive a monthly quota of 300 AI credits. Different operations consume different amounts of credits.
• One-time credit packs do not renew and purchased credits do not expire. They are spent after any available monthly allowance.

Payments and subscriptions are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, which acts as merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle's terms and acknowledge that it processes your payment and billing details under its own policies. Taxes are handled by Paddle where applicable. Refund requests are handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and our Refund Policy; contact us using the details below.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process images you do not have the right to use, or in violation of any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Use the AI features to create unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content, or to circumvent the credit quota or licensing.
• Resell, redistribute, or abuse the Service or its backend, or attempt to access it other than through the provided interfaces.

You are solely responsible for the images you process and the content you create with the Service. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full rules.

You retain all rights to the images you process. We claim no ownership over your content and do not use your images to train AI models. The SaveImage name, branding, and the Service itself (other than open-source code under its respective license) remain our property.

The Service relies on third parties including our payment provider (payments and licensing), Replicate (AI image processing for premium features), and PostHog (anonymous analytics). These are operated by independent companies under their own terms, over which we have no control. We are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, any website on which you use the extension.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any conversion or AI operation will meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for Premium in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You may stop using the Service and uninstall the extension at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of establishment of Northpine Labs LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
