Acceptable Use Policy
Save image as… (SaveAs)
Last updated: June 16, 2026
1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do when using the Save image as… browser extension, its editor, our premium AI features, and any related websites or backend services (together, the "Service"). It supplements, and is part of, our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this AUP. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any breach.
2. Your responsibility for content
Most conversion and editing happens locally in your browser. Premium AI tools send the image you are editing to our processing server only when you explicitly invoke them. In every case you are solely responsible for the images you process and the content you create, and you must have all rights and permissions necessary to do so.
3. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to create, upload, process, or distribute content that:
- Infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or that you do not have the right to use.
- Is sexual content involving minors, or that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way.
- Is non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexual content depicting a real identifiable person created or altered without their consent.
- Depicts, promotes, or incites violence, terrorism, self-harm, or the abuse or exploitation of any person or group.
- Is hateful, harassing, or threatening, or that demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
- Is deceptive, fraudulent, or misleading — including deepfakes, impersonation, forged documents, or manipulated media intended to mislead about real people or events.
- Is otherwise unlawful, or that promotes illegal goods, services, or activity.
4. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its backend other than as expressly permitted.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with credit quotas, license checks, rate limits, or any security or access controls.
- Access the Service other than through the interfaces we provide, or use bots, scrapers, or automated means to abuse it.
- Share, sell, or transfer your license key beyond the permitted device limit, or use a license you are not entitled to.
- Probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, our servers, or our third-party providers (such as our payment provider or AI processing provider).
- Reverse engineer, tamper with, or misuse the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law or its open-source license.
- Use the Service to develop a competing product or to train machine learning models.
5. AI features
Premium AI tools (such as background removal, upscaling, and prompt-based editing) are powered by third-party AI providers and are subject to their acceptable-use rules in addition to this AUP. You must not use AI features to generate content prohibited above, to impersonate others, or to circumvent the monthly credit quota.
6. Reporting abuse
If you believe content or activity violates this AUP, or you have a copyright or other complaint, contact us at [email protected]. We review reports and may remove access, disable licenses, or take other action at our discretion.
7. Enforcement & changes
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe this AUP has been breached. We may update this AUP as the Service evolves; material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
